Jason is skilled in working with individuals desiring to integrate their Christian faith into their treatment, but commonly works with those who do not wish to have this be a part of their treatment. His approach to counseling involves specific schools of therapy such as Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Jason tailors his approach to meet your specific and unique needs.

Jason enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years and their four daughters, who keep busy with soccer and basketball. He enjoys attending his daughters' events and cheering them on. He loves the outdoors and finds it centering whether it be camping, hiking, or simply sitting beside a campfire. The stillness of the outdoors brings peace. Jason grew up in central Iowa and has lived in North Carolina (2005-2011), Mississippi (2011-2013), and Missouri (2013-2014) before returning to Iowa in 2014.
